The COVID-19 channel provides learning resources for health professionals, decision-makers and the public for the outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Courses are available in all UN languages and some national languages.

WHO Campaign #HealthyAtHome

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to many avoiding social interactions and staying at home with little physical activities. This can have a negative impact on our physical and mental health. The WHO provides advice for you and your family on staying healthy at home during this period of confinement.

Basic protective measures against COVID-19

The WHO provides guidance on taking care of your health and protecting others around you. It includes videos and infographic on FAQ, home-care, Pregnancy & breastfeeding, stress management. 

Wellbeing tips for UN Personnel

The UN COVID-19 Response website provides resources to keep healthy in mind and body. It includes information on telecommuting, coping with anxiety, guided meditation and yoga, and getting professional help.

The COVID-19 Learning Pathway 

Created by the Humanitarian Leadership Academy, the learning pathway aims to support humanitarians’ responses during the COVID-19 pandemic. It covers a number of critical technical and soft skills capacity strengthening topics including Public Health, Child Protection, Gender/Equality, Innovation, and Leadership. It also includes a library of key downloadable resources relating to working in the context of COVID-19, including remote working guides and resilience support.

Cornerstone online learning platform

The free online learning platform includes information and resources on COVID-19 prevention, self-care and stress management, and productivity while working from home. Users are requested to register on the platform and contact Cornerstone for help desk related queries.

LinkedIn Learning for serving UN Volunteers

UNV provides free access to all serving UN Volunteers. To request access, visit the page on LinkedIn Learning for UN Volunteers. We have also created learning paths especially to support our volunteers cope with the current situation which can be found by using the “Learning Paths” filter in the search function of the platform.

Access these free online learning resources to respond effectively during the COVID-19 pandemic. You will need to register on the platform to take these courses.
